Tags: mashups, twitterverseAt the October 6th Target First Saturday, we decided to experiment with Twitter and this post will take you through the first wave of our experience. As with all new web ventures, we like to keep things as simple as possible until we get a feel for the requirements.
Tags: bam, experience, twitterIn today’s post I confine myself to describe services that are capable of handling attention profiles based on the proposed APML standard. To make it easier for humans to recognize that files containing an attention profile indeed are attention profiles, we label them with the file extension “.apml”.

Emily Chang’s PicoCool blog finds “tiny and obscure content from the world of peer media, social networks and subcultures.” Browse the blog or subscribe to the RSS feed for products, photos, and other creations that will shake up your thinking. For example, check out the bathtub-shaped SPA memo pad holder with a little bather relaxing Calgon-style. Just looking at his (her?) bulbous head makes me feel more relaxed and open to good ideas.

Yay, my photo will be included in this show!
“SFAC and JPG Magazine has teamed up with the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery for a show called “Breakthrough: An Amateur Photography Revolution.” And you’re invited! Every photo submitted to our Breakthrough theme will be displayed in the gallery in some fashion. Some will appear in a grid on the photo wall, some in a slideshow, and a select few will be printed and hung in the gallery. And you’re invited to attend the opening! It’ll take place at the gallery on April 20 at 6pm. We’ll also be participating in a panel discussion on the “art and practice of photography in the brave new digital age” on May 31 at 6pm at the Koret Auditorium, San Francisco Public Library. We hope you can join us!”
