The least they could do is download firefox and take a look… and not preloading rollover images is a sin. Sounded like an interesting concept, but they’ve lost my trust already - let’s hope they sort their problems out quick.

You have to remember that during beta, which is what Profile Builder is in, need time to collect and fix bug problems. The only way that can happen is for users to tell them about it. Don’t be so quick to give up on what you said is an interesting concept. I do agree about the image loading.

Not sure what you are getting but my profile loads good with Firefox on my end. I still need to add Resume, Links, and Twitter info to it. Right now any editing I make usually takes an hour to a day to change.

I know what beta is, I’m putting a project into beta in a few weeks! I just think that before going into a public beta a few different browsers should be checked. I think they have a problem linking the stylesheets in - the signup page looks like this:

Which takes me to this, which I can’t really use very well:

From the screenshots you took and the situation you are explaining. I think you might want to check your firefox extensions, particularly web developer, and check if you have css disabled. If thats not the problem then I got nothing.

Steve Purkiss on August 08, 2007 at 01:55 PM:

Yes, I do have the web developer toolbar, and no I don’t have CSS switched off.

Thanks for thinking I wouldn’t have noticed like, erm this site not working before posting…

But maybe they will read this and do some more checking, as you say, it is in beta.

I have web dev toolbar but css not switched off as every other site fine.
