Becoming your own personal Google is a tall order, but web-based personal organizer, iubo, plans to do just that. A project of two university students and still in early development stages, iubo allows you to capture all of your stuff (photos, calender items, notes, bookmarks, etc.) in one place and perform searches across all of your saved stuff. iubo is currently in private beta. There is a world of software that is literally, and legally, free. This is the world of open source software, and Open Source Living is a new resource that puts it all (or at least a lot of it) in one place. Open Source Living started out as a simple list of software, an overflow from the author's browser 'favorites' list.
