Social History Network, Nearbie, Releases New Features
"Social History network, Nearbie, launched in March, has released a major upgrade to its service.
New features launched this month include:
Browse History
Lets you browse earlier and later history through all the interconnected history on Nearbie. You can browse forward through your best friend’s history, then discover a cool place that your friend has been too, and decide to browse through the history of that place.
New History Making Tools
Faster, easier, and more useful. The way you make history has been completely revamped. A mini form appears on each page where you can contribute to the history of people, paces and events. You can even make history in as little as one single click.
Commenting
Just like on a blog post, you can add your comments to any history item on Nearbie. Be smart, be clever, say something good!”
About Nearbie
Nearbie ("NearBEE") combines blogging, photo sharing, geo tagging, and social networks into one simple concept - Making History.
You can explore how you connect to people, places and events around you. Invite the people you share history with in real life, and see how they connect to everything else around you through place and time. And with Nearbie, when you record history about yourself, you literally become part of the history of your friends, the places you visit, and the events you attend.
