Stylehive Seeking Stylish and Web-Savvy Interns

The Stylehive, a trendsetting visual social bookmarking community focused entirely on products and shopping, is seeking interns for Fall.

What we are looking for:
Enthusiastic style-conscious individuals who are savvy in both technology and fashion. Our interns are passionate about trend-setting products and usually get noticed for wearing or having cool stuff. They must be enthusiastic and have an energetic and positive attitude. Their hobbies should include reading fashion and lifestyle magazines, shopping and surfing the web. They should be efficient and hard workers that are into gadgets, design, products and fashion. We prefer those that are knowledgeable about the Internet, blogs and online community forums and networks like MySpace.

Who we are:
The Stylehive is a trendsetting visual social bookmarking community focused entirely on products and shopping. We are in search of the freshest and most interesting new products, brands and designers from around the globe. The Stylehive is a collection of trendsetting products, brands, designers and stores discovered and tagged by the Hive community - http://www.stylehive.com

Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of unique online retailers, fashion/lifestyle trends
- Sophisticated taste level
- Proficient using Mac operating system including Word, Excel, and search engines.
- In-depth knowledge of social networks such as My Space

Duties:
- Assist with community network marketing
- Assist with online marketing projects
- Troubleshoot new features on our website
- Assist with competitive research
- Receptionist duties including answering phones, and accepting mail/deliveries

Internship details:
- Length: 4 months (Sept – December)
- Hours: 10 hours/week (Mon – Fri)
- Start Date: September 2006 (some flexibility on start date)
- Location: Financial District, San Francisco
- Compensation: $10/hour
