Emily Chang launches her namesake domain after many years of blogging and artmaking under the pseudonym artcodes (1996 - present).  Emily will shift her writing about web and interactive design, technology trends and observations to emilychang.com, while returning artcodes.com to its original intent as a daily art blog.

Movable Type 3.2 launches with loads of new features, including Vicksburg, a unified CSS design template by Six Apart designer Walt Dickinson.  Emily Chang designs three of the theme color palettes (Desert, Khaki, Violet) which were released as part of 3.2.

Six Apart, the world’s leading weblog company, hires Ideacodes to assist in wireframe design and development, as well as interface and visuals for the next version of its popular blog service.  Co-founded by Mena and Ben Trott, Six Apart began as a labor of love by the husband and wife duo that created Movable Type, and has since grown to include TypePad, a hosted weblog service, and the acquisition of LiveJournal, a blog community with over 7 million members.  We’ve been supporters of Movable Type since the beginning and couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with them.
