I first visited Corante while a graduate student transitioning from multimedia installation art to web-based work.  Many (!) years later, Corante, the world’s first blog media company, is still going strong - publishing diverse, unbiased views on technology, science, business, and society.  Today, Corante 2.0 takes off with the launch of Corante Hubs and the Corante Network.

A couple of months ago, I got an email from Stowe Boyd, author of Get Real and President/COO of Corante, “a well-known media subversive, and an internationally recognized authority on real-time, collaborative and social technologies.” I had already been a reader of Get Real (and the fact that Stowe’s bio included “subversive” had me hooked.) When Stowe and Francois Gossieaux, CMO and VP, Business Development, contacted me about joining the new Corante Web Hub I was delighted.

The Corante Web Hub is “your starting point for keeping abreast of the best writing and thinking on the forces and factors impacting the Web and where it’s headed.  Here you’ll find the field’s most insightful observers and commentators tracking and reporting on its latest developments as well as weighing in on its future.”

In his post, Corante 2.0: Hubs In A Network Of Stars, Stowe writes about the motivation, impetus, and concept.  Visit Corante Web Hub or learn more about the Web Hub and see the network of contributors.  Make sure you download the OPML file or the individual feeds for Web Hub or Editorial.  eHub and my blog posts will be appearing in the Web Hub feed.
