I’ve been tweaking the design of my site behind the scenes for the last few weeks and made the changes live tonight. Of course, there will be continuous tweaks, but I feel purged! Overall, I’ve tried to reduce clutter and simplify the structure and presentation - a proper cleansing. It’s an evolution but also a return to an earlier version with less density.
The other changes in the works have to do with the content, focus, and my relationship with the site. It’s been feeling a bit stale for me so I’d like to shake it up and start lifeblogging. I hope to do more moblogging while on the go. Rather than just twittering and taking/sending photos to Flickr from my iPhone, I’ll post thoughts and images from my day here. I plan to do more free form design and keep a digital sketchbook here. I might start doing dispatches, daily updates about my day in diary form. I want to start doing some videos again and generally start expressing my creative side here. It’s time to make my personal site more personal.

Tweaks look great and the content plans are really interesting. Looking forward to watching this site evolve.
I like the look! I also look forward to reading your life stuff! :)
I like the new look so far! Looking forward to most posts here because 140 chars is so limiting. ;)
Looks great!
